Abstract:

The main purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of transformational leadership style and management control on organizational performance of managers of applied science and education centers in Isfahan province. This study was descriptive and correlational in terms of purpose and its method. Statistical population of this research is managers of applied science and technology centers in Isfahan province in 2018. Therefore, the statistical population of this study is 154 people and according to the Georgia and Morgan table, the sample size was 108. The Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire by Bruce J. Avolio and Bernard M. Bass, Parson, Negai et al, were used in thisstudy to investigate the research variables. The face and content validity of the questionnaire was confirmed. In the present study, the content validity of the questionnaire was evaluated using the opinions of supervisors and several subject matter experts. Face validity was also confirmed by several respondents. Reliability of the research questionnaire was also calculated by Cronbach's alpha for all dimensions of the questionnaire including mental persuasion, ideal influence, inspirational motivation, personal considerations, discipline, responsibility, co-operation, improvement in work, comprehensive performance measurement system, comprehensive reward and accounting system was over 0.7. Data analysis was performed by SPSS software. The results showed that transformational management and leadership control had a significant effect onthe aforementioned dimensions on the organizational performance of managers of applied science and technology centers in Isfahan province.
