Abstract:

This research is a report of articles about the impacts of role play techniques on the acquisition of English as foreign language. Role play is designed by Fannie and George Shaftle in (1984) to help students study their social values and study on them. It is often found in the state school and LSP situations. Role is asocial term and studies social behaviors of students. The study pays to findings of research articles in this case. Several famous and top articles from Journals of research scholar, research gate, Google scholar, were selected and classified by researcher to survey that weather this techniques were effective or not. Researchers had used many main and sub techniques, methods, strategies, ways and Medias to discover the fact. At last it was cleared that role play has had a very significant and important effect on the acquisition of all learning skills especially speaking including social inter acts and behaviors, phatic communion, dialogue and language functions.
