Abstract:

In order tTo reduce the pollution contamination caused by fossil fuels, reducing vehicle weight loss has been welcomed greatly. So, the use of aluminum has been increased dramatically duo due to its low density. But, to for use aluminum in the transportation industry, its aluminum strength should be increased. Cryogenic rolling is one of the Sever severe Pplastic Ddeformation processes that can improve the mechanical properties of materials. The present Current study proposes a more practical and cost cost-effective method for cryogenic rolling, which increases the strength of makes AA۶۰۶۱ to reach the desired strengthlevel so that its . Aluminum strength and elongation in this method of cryogenic rolling reaches to ۲۶۴ MPa and ۳.۳%, respectively, with only ۴ four times of submerging in LN۲. Also aAfter artificial ageing heat treatment at in ۱۵۰°°C for ۵۰ hours, the strength and elongation to fracture further reaches to ۳۷۵ MPa and ۶.۳%, respectively.
