EFFECTS OF IRRIGATION HALT AT SUNFLOWER GROWTH STAGES ON IRANIAN SEMI-ARID CONDITION abstract
In order to study of growth and development of three hybrids of sunflowers (Helianthus annaus Authority?) under different irrigation halts, a field experiment was at field experiment of Zahedan Islamic Azad University at East of Iran. The experiment was laid out in split plot arrangement with randomized complete block design (RCBD) with 4 replications. There were four levels of irrigation regimes (control, halt of irrigation at pre anthesis, flowering and post anthesis stages). The purpose of this study was to determine response of sunflower cultivars to the halt of irrigation at reproductive stages. The results showed that the effects of main factor (varitial factor) were significant on yield, oil yield and yield components. Azargol hybrid under the halt of irrigation that started from flowering stage to end of maturity had more seed yield that is 4.293 ton per hectare. The study of the interactions of treatments showed that under incomplete irrigation in semiarid location the quality and quantity of sunflower yield immediately concerning to adaptation Conclusion of results)
