After the advent of Islam, art in the countries that accepted this religion became spiritual, and artists in Islamic countries displayed God's characteristics and oneness in their artworks. This art's essential features are human humility in the face of God's greatness and the expression of God's oneness. Islamic architecture has played an irreplaceable role in manifesting God's oneness as one of the primary and vital branches of art in constructing and creating holy places and mosques. Other arts such as illustration have left valuable and successful works over the centuries by their unique form in Islam, which indirectly illustrates God.
