Abstract:

The aim of this study was a systematic review of evidence of the impact of wearable technologies on improving physical activity and following exercise programs in the elderly. The studies were retrieved from the PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus and Embase databases on January ۲۷, ۲۰۲۲. A total of ۱۷ studies were included. Evidence from this systematic review showed that wearable technologies are feasible, safe, and effective in tracking elderly sports programs. Wearable technologies may be effective not only in improving the physical activity of the elderly but also in improving the health outcomes and thus the quality of life of patients.
