The role of coping strategies in the use of social networks among women prone to divorce

The aim of this study was to investigate the role of coping strategies in theuse of social networks among women prone to divorce. The research method wasdescriptive correlational. The statistical population of the present study includedall women prone to divorce aged ۲۰-۴۰ years in Ardabil in ۲۰۱۶. Samplingmethod was available in the present study Using this method, ۶۰ womenreferring to family courts in Ardabil were selected as the sample groupQuestionnaires of behaviors of virtual social network users and coping strategieswere used to collect data from the present study. The obtained data wereanalyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient test and regression analysis andusing SPSS statistical software. Findings showed that there is a significantpositive relationship between the use of social networks with emotion-orientedcoping and avoidant coping (p <۰.۰۵). Also, the results of regression analysisshowed that emotion-oriented and avoidant coping can significantly predictchanges related to the use of social networks in women prone to divorce. In thisregard, it can be said that coping strategies have an effect on the use of socialnetworks in women prone to divorce.
