Abstract:

Introduction: Creativity is an important factor in the survival of organizations in the current competitive environment. In addition, creativity is one of the basic skills in solving problems and issues for nurses. Due to the fact that nurses working in hospitals need creative thinking, continuous learning and process review to increase performance and improve the quality of nursing services. Thereforethere is a need for educational methods to help increase creativity and creative thinking in nursing staff to increase the quality of nursing services. this study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of FOCUS PDCA model training on the creativity of nurses in the surgical-surgical wards of Khatam Al-Anbia Hospital in Zahedan in ۱۴۰۰. Methods: This is a quasi-experimental study. The statistical population was ۷۰ nurses working in the internal medical - surgery wards of Khatam Al-Anbia Hospital in Zahedan. Sampling method of this type is available Data collection tool was Abedi Creativity Questionnaire, in which nurses' creativity was measured at each stage (before and after the intervention). Results: Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data. This study shows that the average dimension of creativity in the group of nurses who have completed the FOCUS PDCA course is higher than the group of nurses who have not received this training.Conclusion: The present study showed that FOCUS PDCA method increases creativity and innovation in nurses.
