Abstract:
Since the incipient of the pandemic, educational systems around the world felt the need for transferringtheir services to an online platform, and they provided students with a variety of platforms in order to educatethem online. Iranian educational system has been no exception and developed a mobile application calledShaad which became the most prominent educational platform for schools around the country.This research is designed to qualitatively analyze some Iranian teachers’ attitudes towards Shaad andanswer to a question regarding its limitations that hinder students learning English. As the results of thisresearch, teachers enumerated some areas of Shaad which demand more development. Among the mostrepeated keywords were Internet shutdowns, digital literacy, lack of special features, and studentmisbehaviour, and researchers have suggested some solutions based on participants’ interviews
