Abstract:

A glance through the last century of language teaching practices reveals mixed opinion about the place ofteaching language forms. In the grammar Translation Method and it cognitive code learning, formalaspects of language.Received central attention .In the direct Method and the Natural Approach, over focus on forms wasalmost forbidden .Some manifestation of CLT advocated only a passing attention to form, while otherproponents of CLT supported the injection of form- focused techniques into a communicativecurriculum. The forms of language include the organizational components of language and the systematicrules that govern their structure .Phonological ,grammatical ,and lexical forms occupy the three principalformal categories that typically appear in a language curriculum .Studying grammar is important to theacquisition of every aspect of language .Both inductive and deductive means of acquisition arenecessary for learning to occur .After all, the study of grammar is a very important part of languagelearning . In some context and with some people the deductive learning of grammar works better, whilewith others the deductive way.
