Abstract:
Nowadays what can distinguish a city from other cities is the concept of branding for that city.Branding a city gives it an independent identity and can attract tourists and bring economicprosperity to it as a result. One of the effective elements in creating branding is the correct andprincipled use of color. By examining the history of the colored cities of the world, we realizethat over time in many cities of the world, the use of color has played a key role in givingidentity to those cities, and we conclude that this principled use can be used in the identity of thecity in an expert manner. Kojak Bonnyville should be effective and a suitable solution should beconsidered in order to attract tourists and transfer capital, which will ultimately lead to theeconomic and social prosperity of this city. Therefore, in the following article, library documentstudies and a survey of cities in the world where the unique color of their buildings has giventhese cities an independent character and identity are discussed in order to answer the questionof how the use of color in urban spaces can Branding a city is effective.
