The Assessment of lethal concentration (۹۶h) of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) fed with Allium sativum in acuteeXposure to copper

This research was done to assess of lethal concentration (۹۶) of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) fed with Allium sativum in acute exposure to copper. ۱۱ rainbow trout fish (fed with Allium sativum and without Allium sativum) with average weight ۵۱.۲۰±۳.۷۳ g and ۱۶.۶۲ ±۰.۶ cm in length, that were encountered with different concentrations of copper (۰.۰۲, ۰.۱, ۰.۳ and ۰.۴ mg/l). Sulphate Copper salt were used as source of copper. A group of fish was considered as control. The toxicity test was conducted at pH of ۸.۰۹±۰.۱۵ and temperature of ۱۷.۱۰±۰.۷۴ °C. Concentrations of copper ranged from ۰.۰ to ۰.۴ mg/L. The concentrations of copper that killed ۵۰% of rainbow trout (with average weight ۵۱.۲۰±۳.۷۳ g) within ۹۶-h was ۰.۱۸۶ mg/L for fish fed with garlic. Results indicate, there was significant differences between treatments with each other, when concentration of copper were increased too (p<۰.۰۵).
