Abstract:

The basic concepts of waste-free thinking in construction projects are to reduce waste, improve communication, and enhance the integrity of collective action through a set of common tools and techniques. With the increasing demand for public works projects, there is a need to focus on providing efficient construction services in the public sector, and in particular, on the delivery of urban projects. Urban projects are a part of public works, which includes a wide range of infrastructure projects financed and built by the local government for use in the larger community. The purpose of this paper is to analyze how to improve zero-waste construction techniques for performance and productivity in the delivery of urban projects, and to provide new knowledge about how zero-waste technologies can reduce intangible waste related to project delivery. The scope of this paper is limited to the use of wasteful construction techniques to overcome problems, facilitate the progress of the project, and provide recommendations to improve the operations of urban construction projects. The purpose of this study is to adapt and expand the classification of controllable intangible waste using the Analytical Hierarchy process. This thesis defines the objective using the pyramid method, defines and classifies the waste, and takes measures through the application of appropriate economic techniques. The theme of conducting a survey based on comparison to determine the relative preferences of a certain group of alternatives on a relative scale based on the experience of building professionals. During the Hierarchical approach, I defined the parameters and priorities of the paper to achieve the optimal goal of reducing waste and improving performance.
