Synthesis of strontium nanostructures using the sol-gel green process abstract

Strontium based materials has attracted considerable attention due to their potential applications in energy field, fuel cell, sensor, and, etc. Due to the high reactivity of this element, it does not become elemental or metallic in nature. Today, nanostructures are synthesized by plants, bacteria, and fungi, which is called green chemistry. In the present study a method based on sol-gel method and green chemistry is used to synthesize strontium samples in nanometric scale. The nanostructures is synthesised in the presence of different amount of green extracts. Also, the effect of all parameters in synthesis process are investigated. The characterization of the samples are performed using different techniques. The studies show the samples are synthesise in nanoscale size. Therefore, the nanostructures can be appropriate materials for different fields such as electrocatalysis, sensors, and etc.
