Synthesis and characterization of copolymers and copolymer nanocomposites using 2-sec-butylaniline, 3-aminobenzenesulfonic acid and 2-aminobenzenesulfonic acid monomers and their application in solar cells abstract

In this research, chiral copolymers were synthesized using 2-sec-butylaniline, 2-Aminobenzene sulfonic acid, and 3-aminobenzene sulfonic acid monomers in the presence of FeCl3.6H2O as an oxidant. Their application in polymer solar cells were investigated, and the maximum efficiency was 1.23%. The synthesized compounds were characterized using FT-IR spectroscopy. The optical properties of the synthesized compounds were investigated by UV-vis spectroscopy. The electrochemical behaviour of the synthesized copolymers was investigated by cyclic voltammetry.
