Synthesis of novel multifunctional pyrazole-tetrazole hybrids using magnetic nanocatalyst abstract

In current report, the synthesis of novel multifunctional pyrazole-tetrazole derivatives was carried out by the reaction of diverse aryl aldehydes, malononitrile, phenylhydrazine and sodium azide in the presence of magnetic supported cobalt nanocatalyst (γ-Fe2O3@FAp@Co) in ethanol at room temperature. This method provided a novel approach for the synthesis of pyrzaole-tetrazole in excellent yield (90–95%) and short reaction time (15-25 min). The structures of prepared compounds were confirmed by analytical methods.
