Abstract:

Daily increasing attention devoted to the knowledge as an important asset of one organization and also management of such knowledge to gain more of competitive advantage are irrefutable issues. As the result, most organizations have centralized their focus on the knowledge management. To make sure of a successful knowledge management in place critical success factors of knowledge management should be regarded as essential activities. Therefore, a systematic analytic study of such critical success factors needs for sure to be conducted with the aim of prosperous execution of knowledge management. The current research is intended to classify and evaluate critical success factors of knowledge management, while taking into consideration causal relationship. In other words, these factors are divided into two classes of cause and effect factors. To achieve the study objective, Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) Method is applied. A structural model of critical success factors is developed by DEMATEL method and then structural relation of these factors is described utilizing diagram of causal relationship. Furthermore, fuzzy logic is exploited to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty of the evaluation of expert judgment
