Finding efficient solutions of Multi Objective Assignment Problem by using Data Envelopment Analysis

Assignment problems are used throughout many research disciplines. Most assignments problems in the literature have focused on solving a single objective. Nevertheless, many researches focus on multi objective assignment problem and try to provide better solution. In this paper, by using data envelopment analysis (DEA) technique a method is proposed to find efficient solutions of Multi Objective Assignment Problems (MOAP). In this method from a feasible solution of MOAP problem, a decision making unit (DMU) is constructed then by utilizing DEA models, efficient solutions will be achieved. A numerical example is used to demonstrate the approach.
