A Deeper Investigation Over Stress, Depression, And Anxiety As Defective Factors For College Students’ PerformanceWith A Clinical And Medical-Based Approach abstract

Examining the prevalence of depression, anxiety, and stress among college students is the primary goal of the current study. The study approach uses a straightforward random sample strategy to get data from university students in universities. A demographic sheet and the DASS-21 (Depression, Anxiety Stress Scale) were used to gauge the participants' levels of stress, anxiety, and depression during the study. Data were scored using the conventional methodology for each subscale, and the statistical software for social sciences was used to apply the frequency distribution approach for additional analysis. Our results took into account the means of stress, anxiety, and depression as well as the incidence of these conditions among college students. The research results indicated that the percentage of people with depression fell into the following categories: normal (30%), mild (15%), moderate (40%), severe (10%), and extremely severe (5%). Anxiety and stress were found to be prevalent within the limits defined by the following categories: normal, mild, moderate, severe, and extremely severe. The results compared to depression, anxiety, and stress symptoms are more common in the current population and range from mild to severely severe. These results point to the urgent need for certain interventions and preventive actions to enhance students' mental health
