Abstract:

Dr, Howard Gardner, a professor of education at Harvard university, developed Multiple Intelligences Theory (MIT) in 1983. It has strong effects on education. Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences theory is presented as a cognitive perspective on intelligence which has profound implications for education in general. More specifically, it has led to the application of eight of these frames to language teaching and learning. This theory suggests that every individual is intelligent and that each person has different learning preferences and strengths. In this paper, eight different kinds of intelligences will be discussed
