Body-Driven Gain-Boosting technique, as a novel alternative to design high-speed and at the same time (very) high-gain CMOS operational amplifier in (very) low-voltage applications, has been employed to enhance the voltage gain of gate-driven operational amplifiers. The technique has been applied to a regular gate-driven folded-cascode single-stage Op-Amp as well as a two-stage Op-Amp to enhance their voltage gain without any limitation on lheir minimum required supply voltage and voltage swing in (very) low-voltage applications The gain/speed/swingp erformance of the proposed lotuvoltage Op-Amps would be therefore good enough to employ in a Sample-and-Hold Amplifier (SHtl) for two dffirenl speed and accuracy specifications Using the proposed architechrre, two dffirent sub-l- V single-stage operational amplifier and a I 2-V twostage
one have been designed and simulated in 0 18- pm CIvIOS technology that confirnl the suitable operation of lhe architecture in (very) low supply
voltages.
