Abstract:
From engineering point of view, the structural analysis of slab track systems is performed by two separate loading approaches. In the first one, the patterns of loading system are used as aquasi-static loading by applying a proper dynamic impact factor which is mentioned in various standards. In the second approach the actual train wheel loads are applied on the slab track and the response of the slab is evaluated under the actual moving wheel effects. In thesubways, the slab track is installed on a poly urethane (PU) layer. In this study, it is tried that a series of design spectra (DS) to be extracted by supposing the slab track as a single degree of freedom system rested on a spring and dashpot. In this matter, the design spectrum hasbeen derived by considering the bilinear behavior of the various PU material and imposing the actual train's wheels load.
