DEA models with interval scale data

The original data envelopment analysis (DEA) models use positive input and output variables which are measured on a ratio scale, but these models do not apply to the variables in which interval scale data can appear. However, with the widespread use of interval scale data emphasis has shifted toward the simultaneous consideration of ratio and interval scale data in DEA models. In this paper, we present a general approach of deriving DEA models to deal with the interval scale variables.
