Abstract:
This study sought to examine the impact of export on the energy consumption for 20 selected developing countries (with regard to Iran) during the period 1999 to 2011. In order to estimate effects of variables panel data techniques with the approach of Generalized Moments Method (GMM) is used. The results show that exports have a positive impact on the consumption. Control variables, income oil prices also respectively have positive and negative impact on energy consumption during the period under review.
