Abstract:

The hypothesis of the study is that there is a direct and signficant relation between increased motive and higher productivity. The method to implement the study was survey/library method. The motive to work depends on the individual's ability by which he meets a requirement. Motive could be defined as a practical behavior. Nowadays, it is not possible to move toward sustainable development without paying attention to the degree of productivity in production and awareness of the effective factors on increasing productivity. Since human being plays a key role in development, and materialization of development is in human's hand, it is highly important to satisfy the individuals' emotional and psychological needs. Thus one of the most important duties of a director is to motivate the individuals who are human beings with several needs to achieve organizational objectives. Motives are generally classified in three categories (physical, social and psychological). Part of the human's needs in working environment such as welfare facilities of the working environemnt (suitable work venue, air, light, etc.) are considered as physical motives. Our research method in this study to collect, describe and analyze data is according to survey/library method, using descriptive-analytical method
