Abstract:

Background: The goal of research is the relation between mental skills & personal creativity of woman handball players of Isfahan. Materials and Methods: This research is a descriptive study & survey which is done in 90-91. Statistical population is 115 persons of women handball players for analyzing the relation of mental skills with personal creative & used 2 questionnaires, first mental skills questionnaire (OMSAT, in order of mental skills) second questionnaire is Randsyp’screativity for personal creativity of women handball players & for testing the validity of the questionnaires are used Cornbach’s alpha coefficient. The coefficient is 85 for the first questionnaire & 96 for the second questionnaire. The durability of questionnaires for the firstquestionnaire is 83 & for the second questionnaire are 87. Results and Discussiond: The results of research showed that the stress component of mental skills is in the highest score in women handball players & incitement, provocation, centralization, focus again, illustration, and mental practice have meaningful relationship topersonal creativity & there is different meaningful between mental skills level based on theage & activity of demographic traits. Conclusion: The results of research are showed that mental skills in motivation, controlling worries, provocation, centralization, focus again, illustration, mental practice,planning have meaningful relation with personal creativity.. The result of it is opposite ofcreativity theory of humaneness psychologist. This theory is stated creativity is obtained from interaction healthy persons & educated ones along with healthy environment & showed that it includes freedom the natural ability for creating by eliminate the deterrent forces as in this research there is not meaningful relation between creativity & reaction to stress.
