Types of personalities and persuasive writing: An Investigation of the Relationship between Extrovert and Introvert Personalities and the Use of Persuasive Strategies in the Written Performance of Iranian Advanced EFL Learners.

This study investigated the relationship between extrovert and introvert personality’s and the use of persuasive strategies in the written performance of Iranian advanced EFL Learners. The researcher provided eight treatment sessions in using persuasive strategies explicitly as well as providing some models as instructional strategy. At the end of each treatment sessions the participants underwent a post-test as written task. The results showed that there is no significant relationship between being extrovert/introvert and the use of persuasive strategies in written performance of Iranian foreign language learners.
