Abstract:

هدف از انجام این مطالعه، بررسی نقش عزت نفس در رهبری تحول گرا است. با توجه به مطالعات انجام شده در زمینه های رهبری تحول گرا و عزت نفس، آشکار است که از یک طرف این سبک رهبری منجر به انجام فعالیت های فراتر از انتظار در سازمان می شود. از طرف دیگر افراد دارای عزت نفس بالا، دارای اطمینان و ابتکار عمل در قبول مسئولیت یک گروه هستند، و می توانند در شرایط عدم اطمینان و فشار تصمیم گیری نمایند. بنابراین این افراد می توانند به رهبر تبدیل گردند. نتایج این پژوهش نشان می دهد رهبران دارای عزت نفس بالاتر به احتمال بیشتری رفتارهای رهبری تحول گرا را انجام می دهند.
