Abstract:
We have been prepared SiO2 nanoparticles with sol-gel method by using different surfactants for preparation of o/w emulsions. The as-prepared O/W emulsions can be used for enhanced oil recovery, consist of water, SiO2 nanostructures, surfactanat, alcohol and organic phase. Also the effect of acidic environment in the desired sol-gel reaction was investigated. The SiO2 nanostructures were characterized with Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD).
