Abstract:
The restriction of fossil energy fuel resources and the pollution due to using these resources in recent years has caused many countries to identify and search for new energy resources. Among all solutions for this subject, renewable resources have priority in different countries .These resources in addition to supplying fuel and energy should not damage environment. Iran, our wide country, has different climates which makes using renewable resources in each climate with respect to its specific condition accessible, and each one should be investigated by itself in order to provide thermal convenience for that region. In this study, measuring possibility and comparing available solutions for supplying renewable energy and different methods for its absorption and maintenance in dry and semidry climates will be investigated in Mashhad, and some points about attention to the climate in tall buildings of Mashhad will be presented. Advantages and disadvantages of each method for energy absorption has discussed and eventually the question of which energy absorption has method in residential buildings of Mashhad is applicable, efficient, and cost-effective will be answered.
