Changes in computer and educational technology are having a profound influence on learning and teaching in the ٢١st century. Educational technologies can be defined as the theory and practice of design, development utilization, management, and evaluation of processes and resources for learning and teaching''. The effect of educational technology on reading comprehension is a question. Reading skill is very important for the general and academic purposes, it is so important that the success in the academic achievement highly depended on it. Reading can be seen as an interactive process between a reader and a text which leads to automaticity or (reading fluency). This article reports the results of 15 research articles related to the use of technology and learning environments to enhance reading comprehension. Results demonstrate that technology can have a positive effect on reading comprehension, although some researches show no significant difference between technology-based approaches and non- Technology; based approaches
