Does Deductive Teaching of Complementizers Have Any Effects on Syntax-Pragmatic Use of Them abstract
This study investigate the effect of deductive teaching of complementizers on syntax-pragmatic use in IELTS writing task two. For the purpose of the study, 60 institute EFL advanced learners were participated. The participants were assigned into control and experimental groups. The subject of the study received sessions of instruction.Two sets of test as pre-test and post-test were prepared to determine the effects of deductive teaching of complementizers on syntax-pragmatic use of them in IELTS writing task two. Pared sample t-test, and the statistical means were employed to analyze the data. The findings of this probe revealed experimental group outperformed the control group and deductive teaching of complementizers can be increased syntax-pragmatic use of them in IELTS writing task two.
