Implementing a FTC method for IUST_CSS sun sensor in a spinning satellite abstract
In this paper implementation a fault tolerant control (FTC) method on a constructed coarse sun sensor called IUSTCSS4 [1,2] is simulated. In this regard fault study of the sensor using fault tree analysis is accomplished; then in order to find an optimal place to generate the residual signal in order to fault detection, sensitivity function analysis is used. Finally a signal based FTC approach is exerted on the sun sensor which is applied in attitude determination sub system of a spin satellite.
