Abstract:

The present research aims to determine role of gender on success of reading comprehension skill in second language learning(SLL) by evidences and studies that gathered and by examination of reading comprehension tests. This article investigate the factors which create gender difference in learning process. The hypothesis base on existing gender differences between males and females and also the females are superior than males in SLL. But the results show the gender differences exist in social factors such as attitude, aptitude, motivation, self confidence, etc. As well as there isn t any relation between gender and reading comprehension but only reading comprehension can increase or decrease by some factors
