Abstract:

One of the Iranian philosophers, Gholamhosein Ebrahimi Dinani (born 1934), Whose foundation of theories is in Iranian school of illuminationism discusses self and other. Self and other in his view are attached or discussed with notions of presence, existence, virtues and consciousness. This essay applies theories if Dinani which are self as presence, union ofself and other, existence in the presence of self, self in search of virtues and consciousness, self and other as learner and learned on two stories in a comparative form. One is The 1273), an Healing of the Sick Slave Girl by Rumi (1207- Iranian poet of Sufism and the other is The Nightingale and the Rose by the Irish writer Oscar Wilde (1854-1900).
