A Mathematical Programming Approach for Multi Echelon Supply Chain Network with Various Products and Transferring Vehicles

A supply chain is a network of suppliers, plants, warehouses, distribution centers and retailers, through which raw materials are acquired, transformed, produced and delivered to the customer. An effective and efficient way of managing this network is called a Supply Chain Management (SCM). Here, we propose a supply chain which considers multiple depots, multiple vehicles, multiple products, multiple customers, and different time periods. This paper presents a mathematical model for the allocation of orders to depots and vehicles to minimize the total costs.
