Abstract:
Metastatic tumor to the breast is rare and metastatic colon adenocarcinoma to the breast is very uncommon. They are usually indicative of disseminated disease with poor prognosis. Radical operation should be avoided unless needed for palliation. We report a case of metastatic breast tumor from colonic adenocarcinoma in a 38- year- old woman who was 2 years status after a right hemi colectomy for T3N1Mx adenocarcinoma of hepatic flexure of colon. The diagnosis of metastatic adenocarcinoma to the breast was achieved with histopathologic and immunohistochemistry study.
