Abstract:
A glassy carbon electrode modified with Alizarin Red S and Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes has been developed for individual and simultaneous determination of tramadol (TRA) and dopamine (DA). It is demonstrated that this sensor could be used for simultaneous determination of TRA and DA. The fabrication process of the sensor was characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and the measurement process was carried out by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). The DPV data showed that the obtained anodic peak currents were linearly proportional to concentration in the range of 10-2000 M with detection limit of 0.64 M for TRA and in the range of 0.1-200 M and with a detection limit of 0.005 M for DA. The proposed sensor was used for determination of TRA and DA in human blood serum with satisfactory results.
