Forecasting Turkish manufacturing industry’s sales income and export by genetic algorithm based grey model-GAGM (1, 1) abstract

The aim of this study is to estimate the trends of sales and export revenues of public, private and foreign capital types operating in different positions in terms of capital ownership in the Turkish manufacturing industry through the Gray model. In the study, the data of the 500 largest firms operating in the Turkish manufacturing industry were analyzed. As a result of the analyzes adressed, it has been determined that the weight of public capital in the Turkish manufacturing industry has gradually decreased and that of foreign and private capital has increased
