MONITORING AND SUPERVISION THE CONTROL PHASE OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF OBESITY IN 6-18 YEAR OLD STUDENTS (ECHO) IN AHWAZ JUNDISHAPUR UNIVERSITY SCHOOLS

Background and Aim: Childhood and adolescent obesity is no longer limited to developed and industrialized countries, and is rising even in low-income countries. Successful implementation of the health promotion plan and the presence of a nutrition expert at health centers provided the opportunity for the Iranian public to benefit from more favorable nutrition services.Methods: In this study, the implementation of the plan was carried out in eight counties of the province, which was a nutritionist of the transformation plan, at three levels of physicians, nutritionists and health care providers. Students are identified according to the program chart using the student screening platform.Results: Out of a total of 2,950 obese students referring to nutrition experts in the summer of 96, 32/47% by the physician, 29.62% by health care providers at comprehensive health centers, and 06.06% by school health care providers. In this Nutritional care period was 20% for obese students, 46.4% for physicians and 1% for nutritionists by nutritionists and 74.53% for continuous nutritionists. One hundred percent of the obese students recovered from a total of 2,950 obese students referring to a nutrition expert was 6.81% and 4.37% of the cases were excluded.Conclusion: Due to the low percentage of recovery, it is necessary to provide support programs for obese children and adolescents in the county with the participation of the education and sport and youth organization of the province in order to provide suitable space for increasing mobility.
