Investigations of public trust in the private healthcare system in Tabriz, Iran abstract
This research investigated public trust for the private healthcare system in Tabriz, Islamic Republic of Iran. A cross-sectional household study was conducted in 2017, using random cluster sampling. A total of 384 households were enrolled in the study and a valid questionnaire was used to collect data through interviews. The main results of this study are that trust levels in the private healthcare system is relatively low with less than 50% of peoples indicating great or fair trust. People had the most trust in Macro-level policies and lowest in macro-level Professional expertise (F= 6.42; df=6; p<0.05). the result showed that public trust in the private healthcare system in Tabriz is low and policy-makers need to engagement applicable policies to improve peoples’ satisfied of health services.
