Modal Analysis of Euler-Bernoulli Beam with Elastic SupportResting on Partial Winkler Foundation abstract
In this paper, modal analysis of uniform Euler-Bernoulli beam with elastic support restingon partial Winkler foundation is presented. The applied method for modeling uniformEuler-Bernoulli beam on the partial Winkler foundation is based on the Dynamic GreenFunction. In this paper, the effect of the translational along with rotational supportflexibilities, the effect of the elastic coefficient of Winkler foundation, as well as, the lengthand location of elastic Winkler foundation and other parameters are assessed. Finally, somenumerical examples are shown to present the efficiency and simplicity of the DynamicGreen Function Method in the new formulation.
