Abstract:

One of the important parts of the human body that plays a significant role in his health is teeth. Numerous researches have been done in the world to solve dental problems. Nanotechnology is one of the technologies that has been introduced over the past few years and has been able to make a profound development in the research and production of various products. In this article, dental nano composites have been investigated. by using a powerful simulation software and numerical simulation the filtek z350xt nanocomposite strength was investigated. To test the fracture toughness, a standard CT test was used. Firstly, the amount of stress intensity factor was calculated analytically and then simulated in Abaqus software. The results of both solutions are compared with experimental results. The conclusion of this comparison is that results was good maching with experimental results.
