Spreading of Antibacterial Solutions through the Cotton Wound Dressing

Fluid controlling is one of the most significant factors that effect on the wound-healing procedure, because a perfect wound-bandage must deliver wet saturated wound environs. Capacity of bandages for entrancing solutions particularly anti-bacterial liquids and proposing them to a dry wound-place is very vigorous. This exploration advanced a novel analytical method for measuring the rate of spreading and dynamic movement of liquids over the wound-bandages so as to determine the spreading rate of antibacterial solution's macro droplets from side to side of cotton wound-bandages. Anti-bacterial solutions are fluids which destructive to inhibiting the growth of bacteria. In this study the equations developed by Kissa are applied to a more rigorous measurement of spreading behavior using the analysis of spot area of macro droplets at fast rates, especially in the initial stages. Measurements of the dynamic change of shape of the spreading area of the liquid are also made.
