Abstract:

The Azomite contains a total of indispensable, useful, and rare minerals (67 elements), which assures us that provides the required minerals in food. The aim of this study was to determine some digestive enzymes in Acipenser ruthenus fed with a diet containing different amounts containing 3, 6 and 9 grams of azomite per kg of diet and control (without azomite) for 8 weeks. For this purpose, 120 fish were distributed in 12 tanks (10 fish in each tank). Blood samples were taken using a plastic syringe 2cc from caudalvein. Based on obtained results, the levels of amylase and lipase enzymes in the blood plasma of fish showed no significant difference between control and other treatments (p> 0.05), but the mean of protease enzyme at 6 g/kg diet was significantly higher than control and other treatments (p< 0.05). According to the results of this study, 6 gram of azomite in the diet was more effective than other treatments in Acipenser ruthenus and recommended
