Abstract:
In this study, we designed and synthesized of novel silver nanocatalyst via Immobilized silver nanoparticles on starch substrate as efficient environmentally friendly heterogeneous support and investigated its catalytic activity in the synthesis of quinolones. We further characterized of the new catalyst using the atomic adsorption spectroscopy (AAS), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy analysis (EDS), termogravimetric (TGA), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). After identification, this green catalyst (Ag@DAMS/NS) leads to the synthesis of quinoline derivatives in middle condition and excellent yields. The catalyst was easily separated and reused successfully in the six time without considerable loss of activity.
