Performance Analysis of First-order Nonminimum Phase Optimal LOS Guidance with Final Velocity Weighting abstract
The closed-form optimal solution of line-of-sight guidance for first-order nonminimum phase control system is derived in one dimension with final velocity weighting. The performance index is a weighted combination of final velocity and the integral of the square of distance, velocity and commanded acceleration normal to line-of-sight. The final time is given fixed and the target point is stationary in the solution. The performance of nonminimum phase guidance law is investigated for a third-order nonminimum phase control system in one-dimension and compared to zero - and single-lag guidance laws. Moreover, the effect of weighting coefficients and saturation are inspected. In addition, the performance of guidance law is studied in presence of wind in a 3DoF simulation.
