Abstract:

The increasing growth of urban population and urban development, which has resulted in the uncontrolled expansion of residential, commercial, service and industrial areas, has made the role of urban service centers such as fire station, emergency, terminals, etc. more sensitive and extensive. Obviously, if these centers are located optimally, they will provide good services and play a role when necessary. The use of modeling in the analysis of location of urban service centers has been recognized as one of the most useful methods in recent years and one of the basic and important tasks of urban and regional planners is to allocate land to various urban uses. Urban planners, with their appropriate location, help to ensure the welfare and comfort of city dwellers, and as a result, while helping to achieve social justice, take a big step towards having a sustainable city. In this research, various and practical models of location of urban service centers in transportation networks have been discussed. With the optimal location of urban service centers, these facilities will reach the accident site as soon as possible and without facing the obstacles and limitations of the urban environment and will provide services to the residents of the city.
