Abstract:
This study attempted at Enhancing EFL learners’ critical thinking by emerging themin a blended learning environment. For this purpose, 58 EFL students at Shiraz Universityparticipated in this study. They were divided into two groups: experimental and control.The experimental group consisted of 27 students and the control group consisted of 31. Thefollowing tools were used: E-courses, Watson - Glaser Critical Thinking Test (short form).The researcher taught the experimental group using blended learning via Blackboard, whilethe control group was taught using traditional education. The researchers used Watson-Glaser's Test of Critical Thinking to check critical learning of students. They were providedwith some tasks to complete. The results showed that there were statistically significantdifferences between the experimental group and the control group in critical thinking skills.
