Abstract:

Combustion pollution products are one of the most important environmental environments of today. One of the most important contaminants is NOx contaminants. Researchers are only doing research to reduce NOx worldwide. In this dissertation, using numerical simulation of combustion chamber, the method of steam injection to reduce NOx contamination is investigated. The type of combustion in this study is assumed to be diffusion. In the studied geometry, steam and methane are mixed with other compounds before entering the combustion chamber. After a parallel inlet path, air and a combination of steam and methane enter the reservoir. Boundary conditions and wall and discharge conditions are determined in this study and there are input parameters. The simulation was performed using Ansys Fluent software. Validation was obtained by comparing the results with a laboratory paper. After ensuring the accuracy of the simulated geometry answer, steam injection was performed in different mass fractions. The results of these simulations are based on temperature, pressure, carbon monoxide and NOx at different mass fractions of steam injection according to need. It has been shown to increase the mass fraction of vapor, significantly reducing NOx.
